DaVinci's Child offers unique programs in the performing arts to empower, inspire,
& fulfill the potential in your child. The brainchild of a PhD in Gifted Education, an MFA in the Arts and an MD in pediatric
neurology, DaVinci's Child is a 'Renaissance Approach' to awakening the talents and strengths in every child.
Through music, dance and story creation, children build a variety of skills essential to that medium but equally valuable
to success in other areas.
Through musical ensembles, children do what they love- sing, chant
rhymes, clap, dance, and learn music the same way language is learned. The holistic approach is energetic and joyous, cultivating
social and individual skills. Creative dance motivates children to express themselves through their minds and their bodies. Building
strength, coordination, flexibility, and endurance is the foundation to teaching movements and patterns as well as for
creative exploration of themes such as space or fairy tales. Developing and performing original stories inspires the imagination while building
critical thinking skills. The generation of each story may include topics about heroes & heroines, their character
and how to overcome adversity.
